Well, it happened.

Well, the election is over and what we feared would happen...happened. L.Roy was elected County EWeed Commissioner. A County Weed Commissioner is supposed be in charge of removing noxious plants from farm drives and ditches. Only weed L.Roy has ever been around is his home grown Bahamian brain burner. He claims it completely cured his Trypophobia, which is a fear of sponges and such. Maybe. All I ever I ever seen him do is sit on his front porch puffin' on his pipe, eating saltines and horseradish and telling dirty jokes to his pet salamander, Jerome.

His inauguration speech is next week.
